FORMTEXT ?????PRESENTATION FORMAT OPTIONS: As the Professional Development Committee considers the various presentation abstracts for selection for the educational program, there is the potential to include other types of formats and/or durations. This has the potential to allow more schools or Business Partners to take an active role in the educational conference. The following are possible alternative formats the committee may consider. Please respond if you or your presentation team would consider participating in each alternative. Rejection of one of the alternate formats will not prevent your topic from receiving full consideration by the committee. However it does inherently decrease the potential session opportunities, depending on how the conference educational agenda develops. Enter an “X” next to the desired selection.REGULAR FORMAT SESSIONSThis will be the typical 50 to 60 minute standard format session.YESNO“SLAP SHOT” SESSIONSThis will be a short 25 to 30 minutes session, focused on a narrow singular topic, facilities best practice or lesson learned.YESNO“POWER PLAY” SESSIONSThis will be a joint 90 minute session with 40 minutes +/- allocated to each presenter. The two presentations would be on the same subject, and thus be complementary to each other, e.g. performance contracting, active shooter, chilled water delta T, etc.YESNOSESSION ALTERNATE PRESENTER: The Professional Development Committee does its best to select those presentations that it believes will provide the most outstanding overall educational content for the Annual Conference. To develop a well-rounded program, the Committee works to achieve a balance between factors, including achieving a cross section of subject areas, new and unique content, both higher ed and business partner representation, both large and small institutional issues, and joint vs single presenters, but to name a few. As such, it is just reality that some presentation offerings are excluded. With almost certainty, it is also the case that someone who has been selected to present will not be able to make the Annual Meeting. As such, there is a need for back up presenters or alternate presentations. If you are not selected in the initial round, and are willing to commit to being an alternate presenter, please indicate so below. Enter an “X” next to the desired selectionI am willing to commit to attending the conference and to being available as a back-up / alternate presenter, in the event a session slot becomes available.YESNOCAPPA Code of Professional Conduct: Submission of a Presentation Abstract is acknowledgement of CAPPA’s expectations for professional conduct for all participants in the Annual Meeting. Following the submission, you will receive a Code of Conduct acknowledgement letter to sign and return to the Professional Development Committee. ................
