Director of Competition duties

The principle duties of the director of competition are to ensure that event logistics, statistics collection, bench logistics and field preparation are addressed in a timely fashion. The Director of Competition will be required to appoint a team representative for each team (Varsity, Junior Varsity, Freshman and Feeder) after rosters have been submitted to their respective governing organizations at the start of each season.  These appointed individuals will be responsible for execution of duties and will report results back to the Director of Competition for subsequent posting and/or processing.  In addition to game-day activities, these team representatives will also have the ability to vote on board issues from appointment date to next election date. The Director of Competition, with the assistance of the head coach and coaching staff, shall see that all home games are run in accordance with the MSLA rules and regulations and may assist the head coach and vice-president with arranging and scheduling practices, games, team trips and tournaments.

Ensure referees are in place for ALL games at ALL levels. Communicate with referees to CONFIRM every game. Handle all changes, reschedules, rainouts, etc.



Post game schedules, results, stats for all 3 teams. Send alerts & communication.



Post Varsity game schedules, results, stats.



Post for all three teams on this National website.
