Please watch the unit calendar on the website for dates for turn in items. When a presentation or product is asked of you, you may use the platform of your choice, but you may not repeat platforms during the course of the unit. Please make sure that you use our vocab and grammar. If you use grammar ideas beyond what we know or give me other reasons to believe that a translation program has been used ? the artifact will not be accepted. When you turn in an item please label category and number.

Aperitivos

1. Create a crossword puzzle using the vocab words/phrases from the unit. Give me a copy along with an answer key (on separate sheets of paper!). You must create actual hints that are not just translations, or use images. Minimum of 20 words

2. Create a word search puzzle using the vocab words/phrases from the unit. Give me a copy along with an answer key (on separate sheets of paper!). You must do something with the terms (images or hints) beyond just providing the words. Minimum of 20 words

3. Create a quizlet set of the vocab words/phrases from the unit and play the games and take the quizzes. Tell me your username so that I can verify. Must have 20 words.

4. Write an e-mail to Carlos in Spanish. You met him while vacationing in M?xico. He wants to know what your best friend is like. Describe your friend in detail. E-mail should be at least 10 complete sentences long, and you want to: -tell who your friend is, -tell where he/she is from, -describe your friend's physical traits, and -describe your friend's personality.

Platos Principales (IN SPANISH)

1. Make an album using five pictures of your family/friends/pets. Put each picture on a separate sheet of paper and write at least four sentences about each picture in Spanish. The sentences can use physical descriptions, personality descriptions, talk about classes, nationalities, or origins. (At least 20 sentences in Spanish)

2. Draw a comic strip. Make the people in your comic have a conversation dealing with school. Talk about the classes they take, the teachers they have, what their teachers look like/personality traits are. (At least 20 sentences in Spanish)

3. Put together a product/presentation about yourself. Write your own biography. Biography should be at least twenty sentences long in Spanish and include your complete name, where you are from, and a description of yourself, and give your opinion of at least two courses you are taking. You need to stick to only the things you have learned how to say in class. This product should contain a photo, and any other visual elements you want to add that help illustrate who you are.

Postres

1. Create a song/rhyme to remember vocab/grammar from the unit. You may use a new tune or one that we already know. Must use 20 words.

2. Create a board game or card game using the vocab. Make sure to actually write out the rules and an explanation of how to win your game. Must be beyond just translation practice. Must use 20 words.

3. Make 10 "word world" themed images of our vocab. (Example will be shown in class.) They need to be about a full page each and be in color.

4. Create a collage of pictures that you can describe in Spanish. For each image you need an accompanying sentence. Min 10 pictures.

5. Put together a compare/contrast product in Spanish about Alicia Bustelo and you. Write about what you have in common with her. How are you similar? How are you different? (Alicia Bustelo es una muchacha venezolana. Ella es de Caracas, la capital de Venezuela. Alicia es alta y morena. Es muy graciosa. Pero es tambi?n alumna seria. Es alumna en el Colegio Sim?n Bolivar. En latinoamerica un colegio es una escuela secundaria. El Colegio Sim?n Bolivar es una escuela muy buena).
