That's why we're dedicated to the development of our employees, so that they can reach their career goals.What you can expect in a typical day:?As a Supply Management Analyst your role is responsible to manage master data, segment and analyze our supplier base to identify taxonomy, provide and develop analysis in the areas of spend categories across our company for goods and services. ?What you’ll need to succeed:?Assist in the development and implementation of tools and technology for managing and analyzing the supplier portfolio. Collect and evaluate information about suppliers to identify taxonomy and addition to the approved suppliers list. Produce KPI / Scorecard reports.Prepare analytical reports and briefing notes to share accurate information with stakeholders.Coordinate, track and report on project progression of assigned projects.Develop reports to evaluate business opportunities and ensure Supply Management is maximizing value add to the business.Develop and implement tools and technology for managing and analyzing the supplier portfolio. Perform internal/external benchmarking and competitor analysis.Mentoring and coaching more junior employees and or non-financial professionals.?Professional skills?Strong ability to work as part of a team and independently, network, and build relationships.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; both in person and over the phone.Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills; with keen outside the box thinking.Continuous improvement mindset. Strong written, verbal communication, and presentation skills.Travel?N/A??Education?and experience?Post-secondary education or equivalent experience in IT, Business, or related field.3 years’ experience in business analytics.Experience working in the oil and gas industry is an asset.Excellent knowledge of MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint (create, populate, update), Power BI.Knowledge of Oracle, Sage and IQN an asset.Experience building analytical models and conducting through analysis is necessary.?Irving Oil supports a diverse and inclusive work environment and welcomes applications from all qualified applicants.? ................
