In this workshop participants will learn about using Chromebooks and Google Apps for Education to maximize student achievement and engagement. They will learn the basics of using a Chromebook, including settings, accessibility features, accessing the built-in apps, and working offline. They will explore the Google Chrome Store apps and extensions to find apps which support students’ individualized learning needs and differentiated instruction. Participants will learn how Google Education Apps can help improve student accountability and increase engagement, while helping students learn strategies for collaborating and communicating, and becoming responsible individual learners.Member Cost: $600 with Chromebook and $400 without a ChromebookNonmember Cost: $900 with Chromebook and $700 without a ChromebookInstructors: Jessica Wilson is the technology integration specialist at Hinesburg Elementary School and is a Google Apps Certified Educator.
