VISION, MISSION AND VALUES IN OUR MARRIAGE
VISION, MISSION AND VALUES IN OUR MARRIAGE
Reflection Questions- Handout #1
First, put yourself in the mindset of “old age”. That can be any time in the future where your life will look significantly different than it does now. Maybe its when the kids are grown and on their own. Or maybe its when you’ve retired from your jobs.
Now look back over your life, and try to put your choices in perspective.
Describe the moments in your life that brought you the most joy.
Describe any regrets you may have. Do you wish you had saved more money? Do you wish you had spent some money on little things like cut flowers for your table?
Who were your best friends?
Who do you wish you had reached out to?
How will you be remembered when you are gone?
Is there anything you would do differently in your life?

Our personal mission in life is to live out the question “Do You Know What I have Done for You. ” In all our relationships we will strive to be encouraging, supportive, and to listen with our heart. We will seek the Lord’s will, remain open to learning new things about the world and God’s people, and to teach all to trust and to love. We will serve others and the Lord by using our gifts to the fullest and ministering together to build God’s kingdom here on earth.
FAITH

FAMILY
In order to live out our mission of being encouraging, supportive and listening to our family, and to better teach them to trust and to love, we will make spending time with them a priority. In our marriage, we will remain committed to helping each other grow and life-giving sexuality. With our family, we will be there for them through their joys and struggles, and for our parents to be support them in their maturing life.
FINANCES
In order to live out our mission of seeking God’s will we will tithe and wisely use our financial resources. We will save for our future, meet our financial commitments and ensure adequate funds are set aside for travel, fun and our relationship.
