?Job Description: HospitalityObjective/Overview: This position works with a team of people to provide food and drink for the participants to enjoy and have meaningful fellowship.Key Responsibilities:Recruit other couples to serve as hosts (set up, serve beverages and food, clean up) for each of the hospitality offerings during the conference (once or twice a day)Purchase wine, beer, liquor, soda, water and snack food, cups, napkins, ice, plates and other essentials. Budget is around $2,000. (See sample beverage list)The facility coordinator will secure a place for hospitality. You will need a key (or access) to that room to store supplies and set up.When beverages or sponsored by another organization, a sign is made to acknowledge their contribution and payment goes to the treasurer. Keep all your receipts and our treasurer will reimburse you on the last day of the conference.In this role, you are part of the executive committee of this organization for the year. There are no discounts or fees waived for your service of hospitality, only deepened relationships with others as you volunteer your time, gifts and efforts to help make this gathering the best it can be. ................
