CISD Blended Prekindergarten Program

All three and four year old students as of 9/1/2021 who reside within the Carroll ISD boundaries, as well as students of district employees are eligible for placement in the prekindergarten program for the 2021-2022 school year. The Carroll ISD Blended Prekindergarten serves students who are eligible for Early Childhood Special Education (ECSE) and students who are eligible for free public school prekindergarten according to state eligibility requirements. If additional spots remain after those entitled to service have been placed, remaining spots will be filled by tuition-based students. The tuition-based spots are filled through a lottery based system. The lottery will take place on Thursday, April 1, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. The Carroll ISD Blended Prekindegarten Program is a centralized program located at three of our elementary campuses: Carroll Elementary, Old Union Elementary and Rockenbaugh Elementary. The tuition rate for 2021-22 will be $6,000 year/$600 month (10 months) per school year.

Skyward enrollment will not be updated for this process until February 22, 2021. Submission of any application prior to 2/22/2021 will result in the deletion of the application, attachments and forms.

The following students are guaranteed enrollment in the CISD Blended Prekindergarten Program if the request form is completed by the deadline:

Returning students who are currently in the Blended Prekindergarten Program, Siblings of students who are currently in the 3-year-old Blended Prekindergarten Program, and who will return to the 4-year-old Blended Prekindergarten Program; and Children of District Employees

The request form will open on February 22, 2021. Please click the link below to complete and submit your request for admission by 4:00 p.m. on March 5, 2021 to ensure placement. Requests for enrollment(s) received after this due date cannot be guaranteed. All Skyward applications must be complete.
