QUICK REFERENCE GUIDE

WORKSPACES

(A WORKSPACE IS A COLLECTION OF PAGES) Your workspace is a collection of pages, each indicated by a named tab at the bottom or top of your NYSE Connect (location will change based on your configuration; default setting is for tabs to appear at the bottom). When you launch NYSE Connect, you'll see the default workspace or your last saved workspace. Your personal workspace travels with you when you log in to NYSE Connect from a different computer.

HOW TO: ? Save Workspace (Ctrl-S) -- Select File, Save Workspace. ? Export (back up) Workspace -- Select File, Export Workspace to File. ? Import (restore) Workspace -- Select File, Import Workspace from File. ? Reload Workspace -- Select File, Load Workspace or click the Home icon to go back to the previously saved workspace. ? Access Workspace History -- Select File, Local Workspace History to access recently saved workspaces.

When you exit the program, you'll be prompted to save your workspace if you haven't already.

PAGES

(A PAGE CONTAINS ONE OR MORE NYSE CONNECT WINDOWS) The default workspace in NYSE Connect includes a series of preset pages that appear as tabs at the bottom or top of your screen.

HOW TO: ? Select A Page -- Click the page's tab at the top or bottom of your

screen.

? Create New Pages -- 3 ways:

1. Select File, New Page Templates -- Enter the page name and select the page layout. Click OK. Set up your page by dragging the icons from the toolbar to the desired location.

2. Select File, Page from the menu -- This will display a page with 2x2 windows. Set up your page by dragging the icons from the toolbar onto the page. Double click the page tab at the bottom to name the page.

3. Select the "+" Tab -- This will display a page with 2x2 windows. Set up your page by dragging the icons from the toolbar onto the page.

? Reorder Your Pages - Page tabs can also be moved by left-clicking a page and dragging it to a new location or rightclicking the page and copying it to a new location.

? Add Windows or Tools ? Drag the icon for the window you want to add to your page from the toolbar at the top of NYSE Connect and drop it into your workspace.

? Link Multiple Windows ? When you link multiple windows, the symbol entered in one window will display in all linked windows automatically. Link and unlink windows by clicking the linked or unlinked chain.

? Change Symbol in All Linked Windows -- Left-click a symbol in the Watch List to update all the linked windows. ? Access News -- Right-click the symbol and select News. ? View Chart -- Right-click the symbol and select Chart. To view previous data, click the chart and drag the mouse. ? Add a Title to a Set of Symbols -- Type a # followed by the desired text in any row in the Watch List. ? Group Symbols ? Type ## followed by the desired text in any row in the Watch List. The title will then allow you to expand

or collapse the rows following. ? Drag and Drop Symbol(s) -- Left-click and hold a symbol in the Watch List. Drag and drop it into any other window

(Detailed Quote, Chart, News, Time & Sales, etc.). ? Insert and Delete Rows -- Right-click a row to insert or delete one or multiple rows. ? View Flags -- Choose the Flags field for the Detailed Quote or Watch List components to view condition codes, corporate

actions and news indicators. ? Set Alerts -- To set an Alert, right-click a symbol, select Alerts and the type of alert you wish to add. ? Track Alerts -- To track Alerts, select Utilities and View Alerts from the main menu. View the list of active and triggered

alerts. ? Receive Alert Notification -- To control how you'll be notified of an alert, choose Utilities, Preferences and follow the

prompts. ? Get the Real-Time Data Add-in for Excel (RTD) ? Right-click a symbol and select RTD to extract a symbol or group of

symbols from NYSE Connect and monitor in Microsoft Excel. ? Search by Symbol -- Search by name, exchange, instrument type. ? Copy a Window -- Copy the window and pop it out outside the page. The window will be saved as part of the workspace. ? Hide and Unhide Titles -- Click the pull-down menu and select Hide Titlebar. Click the top of the window to display the

title bar.

KEY INFORMATION ON YOUR FAVORITE WINDOWS

WATCH LIST

The Watch List window can be used to create and access multiple symbol lists and to display them as a single list (Watch List), as multiple lists (Summary) or to track gains and losses (Portfolio). The Symbol List is your default list of symbols. Follow the steps below to create additional symbols lists and to apply the proper headings and view:

1. Click the icon and choose Add New Symbol List. 2. Enter the Symbol List Name and click OK. 3. Enter your symbols in the symbol list. 4. Pick your column heading from the Heading drop-down menu or create your own set. (Choose the Portfolio heading to

display the column heading for monitoring gains and losses. The total value will appear at the bottom of the window.) 5. Select Watch List or Summary from the View drop-down menu. The Watch List displays a single set of symbols.

Summary displays repetitive column sets in the same wind ow.

Repeat steps 1 - 5 to set up additional symbol lists. Once created, you can access a symbol list from any page.

? Top holders based on shares held ? Top 10 buyers based on change in shares ? Top 10 sellers based on change in shares ? Insider trading summaries and more

FUNDAMENTAL DATA

See a company profile, ratios, estimates, earnings, ratings and financial statement pages. Easy-to-print pages are integrated into NYSE Connect and can be saved as PDFs to email to your internal stakeholders.

? A tree-style menu section offers quick access to the desired page, as well as the ability to switch from one page to another.

? Add the most frequently used pages to a list of favorites.

NEWS

Keep up to date on the latest news and press releases from a variety of sources.

? All News -- Display all news for which you are entitled. ? Keyword -- View news by keywords, such as "Estimates" or

"Earnings". ? Category -- Filter news by category; for example, "Hot News",

"Interest Rate News" or "Central Banks". ? Symbols -- View news by symbol(s). You can type in the

symbol(s) or automatically display the news for the symbol in the Snap Quote window if the News window is linked. ? Watch List -- Display all news for symbols in the selected symbol list. ? Custom -- Specify your search criteria and save it.

CNBC

Watch live streaming video from leading provider CNBC directly from NYSE Connect, and catch up with on-demand videos from the CNBC video archive.

? Live or On Demand -- Select a live broadcast stream or choose from a number of on-demand videos. ? Broadcast Region -- View broadcasts from a number of global regions including the U.S., Europe and Asia. ? Volume/Mute -- Control volume settings directly from your display.

CHARTING

Chart and compare historical and intraday pricing across your organization, peers, indices and more using NYSE Connect's sophisticated charting component.

? Input security or index ticker to plot historical or intraday pricing.

? Add additional chart plots for other securities or indices by entering additional tickers and clicking the add button.

? Select different time periods from the dropdown menu to display intraday and historical data.

MARKET DEPTH

See real-time market orders deep into the book with access to the New York Order Book (NYOB).

? Input a security to see NYSE liquidity ? Each row displays a price level and its respective quantity based on live orders on the New York Order Book. ? Visualizations help you quickly identify relative volumes at each price point and on both sides of the order book.
