Haney Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship ProgramHaney Family FoundationThe Haney Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship is being provided annually through the Iowa FFA Foundation as specified by the Haney Family Foundation. Two college scholarships will be presented annually to Iowa FFA members.ObjectivesThe primary goal of this scholarship program is to encourage Iowa FFA members to prepare for a career in agriculture. These students shall have designed and developed a farming concept, business idea, product, etc. that has the potential to develop into a sound and profitable business. Scholarship AmountThe Haney Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship Fund will offer two scholarships to a full-time student. The entirety of this scholarship will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient's college in August. Selection CommitteeThe Iowa FFA Foundation has been designated to coordinate the Haney Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship and appoint a selection committee on an annual basis. The selection committee shall review the applications and select the scholarship recipient. Scholarship EligibilityApplicant must be an Iowa resident.Applicant must be an active Iowa FFA member.Applicant must have an entrepreneurship project, concept or idea they seek to enhance or further define through their collegiate career which will be supported by these funds.Applicant must have demonstrated leadership in the following:Community ServiceOrganization/club involvementStrength of characterThis scholarship is available to applicants who are undergraduate students in two or four year programs. High school seniors are eligible to apply. Scholarship may only be applied to tuition and books; no funds may be applied toward living expenses or room and board.The Haney Family Entrepreneurial Scholarship2021-2022 Academic YearThe Iowa FFA Foundation will administer a scholarship to two FFA members. For 2021-2022, the amount for each scholarship will be $2,500. Applicant must be a full-time student that has been accepted into an Iowa college program, or a two-year transferable program.
