Registration for January Intersession Begins at

Santa Ana and Santiago Canyon Colleges

(Santa Ana)— The January intersession classes at Santa Ana College (SAC) and Santiago Canyon College (SCC) offer an economical and efficient way to fulfill a graduation requirement or to satisfy a thirst for knowledge. Classes run from January 3 to January 31, 2006, and include hundreds of quality offerings from anthropology to computers, from English to math, from music appreciation to political science, and from speech to Spanish. There’s something for everyone—university students on break who want to take a required course, college students who want to graduate faster or senior citizens who want to satisfy a lifelong passion for learning.

The January intersession enrollment fee remains $26 per unit and no parking permit is required. SAC is located at 1530 W. 17th St. in Santa Ana and SCC is located at 8045 E. Chapman Ave. in Orange. A complete listing of classes is available online at sac.edu and sccollege.edu or free at the colleges’ bookstores. For specific registration hours, contact SAC at (714) 564-6005 or sac.edu or SCC at (714) 628-4901 or sccollege.edu.

New students may submit an application online to either college and will receive a registration appointment. Students enrolling in English and math classes may be required to take a placement test. For further details on English or math placement tests, call (714) 564-6147 at SAC and (714) 628-4818 at SCC.

Continuing education classes are offered at over 100 locations throughout the district. For information, call the Centennial Education Center at (714) 241-5700 or the Orange Education Center at (714) 628-5900. Spring continuing education classes, which are offered with an open entry/open exit format and are free-of-charge to the community, begin on January 9, 2006.
