57150027305000Examples of Inclusive BehaviorsRIT is committed to diversity and inclusion, as noted in RIT’s Core Values and the “Greatness Through Difference” Strategic Plan. In order to reinforce this commitment, annual performance appraisals must include an assessment of each individual’s (staff member’s) attention to diversity and inclusion. Examples of some behaviors that support diversity and inclusion are noted below. Appropriate/applicable expectations and behaviors exhibited that could be noted in an employee’s annual performance appraisal may vary based on position, especially between manager and non-manager roles. RIT’s Honor Code and core values (P4.0) may be used as additional resources for identifying ways an employee’s performance and behaviors can be assessed in support of the university’s core values and connection to RIT’s strategic plan.
