CSP COMMAND SET FOR MT3300, MT3400, MT4000, MT4400, MT4400A & MT4500 TWTAs REV H
1.0 PURPOSE
1.1 General
This document defines for MCL's customers the CSP Command Set, which has been designed into MCL's TWT HPAs. For operation description of the HPA refer to the operational section of the respective manual.
1.2 MCL Confidential and Proprietary
This document contains Proprietary and Confidential information which shall not be reproduced, transferred to other documents, disclosed to others, used for manufacturing or any other purpose without Prior Written Permission from MCL, Inc.
2.0 GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
2.1 General Protocol Requirements
The general protocol requirements are defined in 40A2280 (CSP Communications Specification for Computer Controller Equipment). The HPA will meet those requirements unless otherwise noted by this document.
2.2 Response Time Requirements
Certain HPA responses will exceed the maximum response time of 10 ms called out in the protocol specification. Unless otherwise noted in this document the HPA response time will typically be from 5 to 10 ms.
2.3 Fault & Alarm Description
Full descriptions of HPA alarms, faults, operating modes and states can be found in operational section of the respective manual for the HPA.
2.4 NAK Commands
NAK reasons that correspond to HPA operating states are listed for each command in this specification. However, protocol type NAK reasons are not listed with each command as these apply to all messages received by the HPA. When a NAK is sent in response to a command, a NAK reason code (see command 06) for that response will be available until the next NAK is sent.

CSP COMMAND SET FOR MT3300, MT3400, MT4000, MT4400, MT4400A & MT4500 TWTAs REV H
3.0 COMMAND SET
All command numbers are hexadecimal unless otherwise specified. Commas are used to separate the message bytes for clarity but are not used in the actual message. The actual message is sent out as eight bit binary bytes as defined in 40A1546.
