Job description Job title:Finance Business AnalystResponsible to:Finance Business PartnerResponsible for:Department: Corporate ServicesGive briefly the basic purpose of the job and its primary objectives: Reporting to the Finance Business Partner (FBP) the role is to work with the organisation to conduct and complete research and analysis to assist in improving processes and system, and to help introduce and deliver these into the business. The role also has to gather and display business data to assist the association to make sense of information, spot trends, and make predictions for forecasting, budgeting, stress testing, process improvements, and compare to others within and outside the sector. Main duties Typical responsibilities of the job include:?designing and implementing data acquisition models and core data requirements to measure, manage and forecast information to includebusiness services being supplied and delivered including introduction of simple dashboard for measuring and monitoringresponse time and satisfaction data analysistenant census data and other analysis to include assistance in Equality and Diversity reporting change in internal and external environment – including rent models going forwardother performance indicators relevant to the businessassessing resultsanalysing trends and displaying complex data simplyapplying statistical methodology to complex datadesigning and implementing data gathering/management computer systems and software to manage the business - including CRM, Asset Management grading tools and other transactional management system softwareusing statistics to make forecasts and to provide projected figures presenting information in a variety of formats including delivery to departments, SMT and Boardconveying complex information to people who may not be specialistsliaising with colleagues and department to make sense of information and spot trends liaise with colleagues to improve forecasting, processes and benchmark against othersprepare new measuring performance indicators relevant to sector for departments for submission to SMT and Board and ensure processes and systems in place to deliver in a timely and simple wayan interest in, and understanding of, project management techniques and computing systems and delivery of software change in the pastSupervisory and managerial responsibilities: NoneFire, Health and Safety responsibilities:Be aware of your legal responsibility to comply with health and safety legislation and a duty to comply with the Association’s fire, health and safety policies and procedures to ensure that safe working practices and procedures are adopted at all times.
