Electrical & Controls Manager— near West Palm Beach, FL
Responsibilities
The Electrical and Controls Manager is accountable for the electrical, instrumentation and process control systems of the entire manufacturing facility. The major purpose is to ensure the reliability and sustainability of these systems and where appropriate to introduce new technologies and innovations to attain this.
• Plant wide management of electrical, control and instrumentation engineering
• Creating and maintaining the E&C strategic plan
• Provide specialist technical support
• Manage operating budgets, capital, and other improvement projects
• Interface with corporate information technology department
• Advancement of equipment reliability by using the Rx principles
• Managing the E&C team
• Ensure conformance to industry standards
Required Experience
▪ Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
▪ Excellent communication skills
▪ Minimum of 5 years experience and must include supervisory experience
▪ Must have strong knowledge of electrical generation, distribution, motor controls, and instrumentation
▪ Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.
