Teacher Time

The deadline for bidding on Teacher Time is this Sunday April 30 at 8 pm. The kids are super excited about these spots! Check them out at sauganash.

Please consider donating for our music program. Thank you!

Raffle Tickets

The deadline for sales is May 31, 2017. Sign up to sell tickets at Happy Foods this Saturday or Sunday April 2930.

There are great prizes for top selling students and classrooms.

If you do not plan to sell all of your raffle tickets please return them to school, so others may sell them, and we don't waste paper. Thank you.

Benefit Baskets

Thank you so much for your generous contributions to our benefit baskets. Remember that your participation gets you into the raffle for your grade's basket, so best of luck!

Misericordia Candy Days

Sauganash Sixth Graders have been eagerly preparing to bring Misericordia Candy Days back to Sauganash School! Last year, students raised an astounding $3,243 dollars for this worthy cause! Misericordia Heart of Mercy is a local organization that offers residential options and support to individuals with developmental disabilities. They successfully create an environment that maximizes their residents' independence, dignity, and most importantly, enhances their quality of life. Many people don't know that branches of the Misericordia campus even stretch as far as our school's backyard! Supporting this cause not only deepens our students' empathy and understanding for those with different strengths and challenges, but it also increases their community awareness. Money collection will begin May 1st until May 4th during lunch and recess periods. Let's make this year's Candy Days a huge success! Donations from Sauganash families can also be made online.

school.

The LSC is looking for culturally relevant books. A flyer went home today with more information, or you can always call or stop by the school.

We have a lot going on these next couple of months to hopefully finish the year strong for a more secure 20172018. CPS budget cuts have hurt our school programs across the board. We ask for your continued support to help our kids receive the best possible education and our school stay competitive with the best schools in the district.
