TV Show or Song with Analysis

1. In groups of 2-5 people create a television entertainment show on the events in the play, or write a song and provided an analysis presentation of your song based on the themes in the play.

2. For the TV show option select one of the following styles.

|• Inside Edition: The Feud |• Background about the Capulet and Montague families |

|• Jerry Springer Style Show |• Focus on love triangles between the characters- Romeo, Juliet, Rosaline, Paris, Tybalt |

|• Dr. Phil Style Show |• Juliet vs. her parents, nurse, and Dr. Phil (lack of communication) |

|• CSI Investigation Show |• Summarize the tragic events by investigating the killings. |

| |• Interview witnesses, DNA, and toxicology, |

| |• Who and/ or what killed the person? |

|• Your Own Idea |• Any other ideas need to be cleared with the teacher |

| |• Your own idea must to deal with background, love, communication, and summary |

3. For the song option, make sure you write about how your lyrics link to themes and plot development in the play.
