How To: Creating an Account with Myscouts.ca

Members of the public can register with Scouts Canada as: Parents/guardians (to register their children/charges) Volunteers Participants 18 years of age and over

There are two steps in the self-registration process: Create an account Register yourself or your child/charge

How to Create an Account:

Parents/guardians and new volunteers can create an account in order to use the online registration feature and for ongoing access to their member profile content and that of their children/charges; participants 18 years of age and over can create an account to access their own member profile content.

1. Access the myscouts.ca - Welcome to Scouts Canada landing page @ 2. Click on the "NO " button (under the question about whether you or your child have ever been involved in Scouting); the Sign up

for Scouts page displays as shown:

Fields marked with * must be completed

3. Enter data into the fields provided. (Note that each time you log into myscouts.ca in the future, you will use the email address

entered as your username and the password entered as your password.)

4. To save the account request, click on the CREATE INDIVIDUAL button at base of page; the User Account page will now display. (If you need to cancel the account creation request, click on the CANCEL button at bottom of

page)

5. To log in, enter your email address in the "Your Email Address" field. 6. In the "Your Password" field, enter the password you created. 7. Click on the Log in button; your member profile (My Profile) window displays.

You can now enter yourself as a volunteer or register a child/charge. (see How ?To: Parents Registering a

youth with Myscouts.ca).
