CURRENT EVENTS

In this class, you'll be finding and sharing a current event that relates to the content in the course. One to two students will present at the beginning of class on Extended Learning days (Tuesdays for periods 1, 3, and 5; Wednesdays for periods 4 and 6). Students will be assigned their presentation date one week in advance. If there are no volunteers, students' popsicle sticks will be drawn to determine who presents the following week.

When it's your week to present, you must find a current event that relates to content we are currently learning (or previously learned) in class. The event must have taken place no more than 5 days prior to your presentation date. Please save the article link and send to me via email at least 5 minutes prior to the beginning of your class period. You'll have 2-4 minutes to present to the whole class.

When presenting, please be sure to answer the following:

? WHO? Who does this event involve (individuals, organizations, governments, etc.)? ? WHAT? What is happening? ? WHERE? Where is this event taking place? ? WHEN? When did this event take place? ? WHY? Why did this event happen? ? SO WHAT? How does this event relate to content we are learning (or previously learned)
