POOL WEEKLY MAINTENANCE SHEET

Use your test kit 3-4 times a week to be sure:

Chlorine : 3.0 to 5.0 (Dark Yellow)

Test Strips (Dark Purple)

PH : 7.4 to 7.6 (Cooked Shrimp Color)

Shock (Oxidize) the pool once a week Sunday Night

(8:00 p.m.)- 1 lb. Burnout/Turbo Shock per 10,000 gallons, or

1 lb. Easy Shock & Swim per 12,000 gallons.

Follow up Monday morning with 1 oz. Back Up Algaecide per 5,000 gallons.

*You can also add 1 oz. Polysheen per 5,000 gallons to your weekly maintenance program if you have a problem with cloudy water after shocking.

Keep Chlorine Sticks or Tablets in the Skimmers or Floaters at All Times.

Bring in a water sample 3rd week to keep water properly balanced.

The filter should only be backwashed when the flow of water returning into the pool has become very sluggish.

D.E. ( Diatomaceous Earth) - Should be cleaned with Muratic Acid twice a season.

In-Ground Sand Filters -The sand should be changed every third season and degreased every season in between.

Above Ground Sand Filters - The sand should be changed every swimming season.

Cartridge Filters - Should be cleaned in a degreaser at least once a month during the swimming season.
