|The purpose of this assignment is to assess your knowledge and understanding of the range of |

|You have been asked to provide information for a recruitment campaign about local health and |
|social care services and the range of job roles available within different sectors. |
|Task 1 |

|Prepare an information pack, which could be given to a group from the local community who |
|are interested in working within health, social care or childcare. Your pack should: |
|identify the range of services provided in your own local area, including health and social care |
|for adults, children and young people and childcare services |
|give one example of who may use each of the services you have identified |
|outline the purpose of each of these services in meeting individual people’s needs |
