Yale Program on Climate Communications:??Digital Ads Assistant5 hrs a week?(2020-2021 academic year)?Digital advertising is one of the most crucial tactics of marketing for online publishers and non-profits. It’s also a very promising avenue for testing out some of our research on attitudes toward climate change. We’re looking for somebody to help produce ads to advance YPCCC goals on both fronts.Tasks:Drafting Facebook or Google Ads at the discretion of the YPCCC Ads LeadsExperiments may include testing content to different audiences, or different messages or imagesMeeting on Zoom for a 1-hour block each week to design, draft, and deploy adsHelping maintain a calendar of upcoming ads & testsPreferred Skills:Attention to detail and strong writing skillsExperience managing a Google or Facebook Ads account, or a professional Facebook or Twitter presence, is a plusAwareness of best practices and trends in social media contentMarketing or digital comms experience a big plusIdeal for detail-oriented, metrics-driven writers who like to explore data.
