Job Description1.Job Title: eCommerce Operative Reports to: eBay Manager Accountable to: Director of Retail & New Business Development Salary: Band 2 Hours: 37.5 per week (Monday-Friday with occasional evenings and weekends)Date: August 20172.Job SummaryThe post holder will be a self motivated and commercially aware individual who will be responsible for driving income, customer experience and profitability through our online sales channels.The post holder will also support the online brand, undertaking a number of marketing activities including social media.268478031115Director of Retail & New Business Development 00Director of Retail & New Business Development anisation Chart3269615850900026847808255eBay Manager00eBay Manager2734310394335eCommerce Operative00eCommerce Operative3269615120650004.Main Duties & ResponsibilitiesProvide support to all aspects of the eCommerce channels including order processing and fulfilment, updating stock levels and responding to communications from customers and suppliers.Develop positive working relationships with individual Ashgate Hospicecare shops to ensure that items of value are identified and passed onto the eBay department.Drive traffic to the Ashgate Hospicecare eBay, Amazon and Furniture web pages.Ensure all items are advertised for sale with a suitable description and have associated images that best showcases their worth.Arrange packing and delivery to customers ensuring that items are shipped within set postage timescales.Ensure that all customer enquiries are dealt with in a timely and effective manner.Work towards a predetermined sales ply with Ashgate Hospicecare policies and procedures relating to Health and Safety.Ensure the eCommerce Office and storage area is safe, tidy and organised at all times.5. Personal Development Through the appraisal process agree individual and team objectives and develop a personal development plan.Attend external events relevant to the roleDevelop new skills as required.munications And Working RelationshipsBuild and maintain relationships with external groups, including auction companies and couriers. Network with local people who may have specific item knowledge. Internal: All staff and volunteers.
