Group E-commerce Manager

Informa operates several e-commerce sites, offering our clients a way to shop directly with us to find the authoritative news, insightful research and data that will inform and transform their business. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Director, the Group e-Commerce Manager will lead our e-commerce sales growth, developing effective strategies and tactics across 11 divisions to deliver new e-commerce sites and platforms, optimise existing sites, ensure the proposition alongside customer acquisition and retention activities drive visits, order value and conversion.

Informa Business Information is a FTSE 250 publishing company, whose transforming from a print to electronic environment. This pivotal role will own the IBI group e-commerce platform development project, to deliver platform and website customer experience improvements. The e-Commerce Manager will identify team resources needed to effectively execute plans, centrally and in each division, reporting successes and deltas to senior management against consistent and relevant KPIs.

We are seeking an experience e-Commerce Manager that has the following skills and experience

• Passion for growing revenue and profitable e-commerce sales

• Expertise to define requirements and implement Magento Enterprise commerce platform and websites, or similar.

• Substantial experience in e-commerce and digital marketing leadership roles.

• Ability to effectively influence and lead enterprise wide e-commerce projects.

• Excellent communicator, able to influence at all levels.

• Strong experience in e-commerce UX, merchandising, paid search, SEO, email marketing and digital advertising in B2C and B2B.

• Bachelor’s level education or equivalent
