This MB reviews the options for these workers can obtain their vaccines. WHAT’S NEW, CHANGED, OR CLARIFIED:IPs, APs, RNDs, PDNs and Independently Contracted Registered Nurses who provide face to face care or personal care tasks in client homes will need to provide one of the following verification options to the selected vaccine provider: Option 1: IPs, APs, RNDs, PDNs and Independently Contracted Registered Nurses have the option of completing a survey on the DOH website: PhaseFinder Workers can fill out the 8 questions within PhaseFinder and then screenshot or print out their results to use as verification.Option 2: Verification letter from the Department of Social and Health Services (DSHS) or Home Care Agency.DSHS is providing IPs, APs, RNDs, PDNs and Independently Contracted Registered Nurses with a verification letter and instructions on how to access the vaccine. Letters to IPsAn informational letter and verification letter has been provided to SEIU for support in distribution and both letters are being mailed from DSHS to all IPs. IPs should begin receiving these letter in the mail no later than the week of January 18. The informational letter explains how an IP can access the vaccine and the verification letter is used to show proof of being a Phase 1A worker in Washington to a vaccine provider. The informational letter is currently being translated and will be available online for download by Friday, January 15 in the following languages:EnglishRussianVietnameseTagalogChineseKoreanSomaliSpanishLaotianThe verification letter is not being translated and is not available online. More information about how an IP can replace a verification letter is provided below.Letter ReplacementIf an IP loses the verification letter and does not work for a Home Care Agency they may access an additional copy of this letter by visiting . Home care workers who work for a Home Care Agency and need a replacement verification letter will need to contact the Home Care Agency or use the PhaseFinder. Vaccine Provider LocationsNo matter what method of verification is selected IPs, APs, RNDs, PDNs and Independently Contracted Registered Nurses will need to visit the DOH Vaccine Location webpage to see which vaccine providers within their county are administrating the vaccine. The website will provide a list of locations, but workers will still need to contact a location to setup an appointment. Vaccines remain limited in number and will be increasing in the coming weeks. In the beginning, it is possible workers will need to will need to search for and contact multiple distribution providers to access the vaccine depending upon availability.
