The College and each district School Board and non-public school requesting an articulation agreement within its service district shall annually enter into and execute an articulation agreement, as per Florida Statute 240.1161, to establish policies and procedures pertaining to the admission and registration of dual enrollment and/or early admissions students.

1. The College shall offer college level courses that meet the requirements of Section 1007.271, Florida Statutes, with the exclusion of college preparatory, physical education and recreation courses. These courses may be offered where sufficient high school facilities exist or at any College operated facility.

2. The annual articulation agreement shall specify detailed procedures, which address student eligibility, the annual calendar, dual enrollment faculty, cost(s), enrollment procedures, in-service training, transportation and/or other issues that directly affect the College, the School District or the student. Florida Gateway College will not discriminate in education related decisions on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, gender, age, disability, marital status, genetic information, or any other legally protected status in accordance with the law. Additionally, FGC will adhere to all applicable federal, state and local laws, regulations, and guidelines with respect to providing reasonable accommodations and required to afford equal educational opportunity.

3. The annual articulation agreement shall include provisions for college credit and vocational credit students, and nothing shall be construed to limit the scope of this annual agreement except as limited in Florida Statute or other Florida Gateway College policies or procedures.

4. The Coordinator of Dual Enrollment will assist the Vice President for Student Services in the formulation and implementation of the articulation agreement in conjunction with other appropriate personnel on campus as may be needed to produce an articulation agreement that best meets the needs of the student and the institution.
