Key Responsibilities:To manage delivery of a quality program that meets the emotional, physical, intellectual and social needs of both the individual and the group in line with the Bright Beginnings Mission Statement.Represents Bright Beginnings in a professional manner, appropriately dressed, and demonstrates excellent customer service skills at all times.Implements Bright Beginnings preschool curriculum and program philosophy.Ensures all BBELC curriculum and discipline programs are being utilized in the classrooms.Monitor classroom notebooks.Ensures resources and supplies are available, toys and furniture are in good condition.To establish and maintain good communications with parents through parent events and on a daily informal basis.Builds enrollment to operate Bright Beginnings at licensed capacity.Manage CRM software, implement daily.Monitor daily ratio sheets to manage classrooms efficiently.Manage and maintain Pro Care SoftwareTo supervise a warm and safe environment that is orderly, clean and appealing and permits the child to grow and to explore. Demonstrates knowledge of, and ensures compliance with, legal regulations and licensing standards.Follow the BBELC uniform classroom guidelines.Adhere to Municipality and State Licensing Code at all timesConduct weekly Administrative checklist To supervise and train staff. Monitor and Mentor staff, assist in ensuring staff complete yearly competencies goals.Conduct monthly staff meetings.Ensure staff quarterly and yearly evaluations are completedTo use appropriate, positive and consistent discipline. Implements and models Conscious Discipline.Monitors classrooms daily to ensure procedures and policies are followed.Properly and professionally corrects immediate disciplinary issues.To maintain all files and records:Monthly meal counts for USDA Food Program.Attendance records, currently clocked in in completed daily and at closing.Children’s files, immunization records, physical requirements.Children’s emergency cards.Health & Safety logs current, emergency drills conducted monthly.Weekly reports/logs.Month end documents completed on time and accurately.Ensures facility maintenance.Submit maintenance tickets for repairs as needed.Monitor and report workman’s compensation accidents. Ensure the center and property is hazard free at all times.Under leadership of the Program Administrator, oversees operational functions of the child care center. Meet company financial goals.Monitor payroll, staffing to ensure payroll budget is in line with enrollment.Timecards are monitored and audited for accuracyManage center spending within budget guidelines and goals.Financial reports are completed and submitted according to deadlines.Payments are collected at enrollment, collections are diligently followed as directed.To keep staff informed of program goals and developments both with children, parents and administration.Monthly materials distributed on time.To obtain certification for: Health & Safety Training, Mandatory Reporter Training and Infant and child First aid/CPR.To obtain 24 hours of relevant training per year.Essential Job Functions: Qualifications: 1. Evidence of emotional maturity and stability and good judgment to function in a crisis situation.Sensitivity to the individual and group need of children. A joyful approach to the child.Ability to supervise a staff of varying educational andAbility to communicate with parents effectively.
