What is Education City?

Education City is an online teaching and learning resource mapped to NC state and common core standards. Alexander Wilson has purchased a subscription to Education City for our K-2 students.

Need To Know

Education City is available to K-2 and EC students While at school students are automatically logged in with an Education City shortcut on the computers Students must have a Homework Pass to login from home If a Homework Pass is lost, please contact Melissa Harrelson: melissa_harrelson@abss.k12.nc.us

Logging In

After logging in students have two choices to begin: Click Grade Level Click myCity (myCity will be set up by individual teachers with specific activities to complete)

Subjects

Choose a subject: Math or Language Arts Unavailable subjects will be grayed out

Study Modes

Students have three choices of study mode: Topic Tools (Lessons with printable worksheets) Activities (Topics focused on standards) Play Live (Students race to see how many correct answers they can get in 60 seconds.

Time spend on Activities and Play Live can be tracked in the Success Tracker

Education City activities are colorful, engaging and ideal for our Smartboards and computers. Each activity has been designed to meet our Core Curriculum Standards
