Job Title: EHS-MAINTENANCE ENGINEER

Reports to: EHS FACILITIES MANAGER

Location: Lucca, Italy

Working Hours: full time

Purpose of the Job:

The EHS-Maintenance Engineer, reporting to the EHS Facilities Manager, will mainly be responsible for supporting the company team in the management of the primary aspects relating to the health and safety of workers and to the environment, acting proactively in order to achieve the corporate HSE objectives, elaborating proposals for the continuous improvement of performance in the mentioned areas. He/She will also be responsible for ensuring the implementation of environmental, health and safety regulations and related Rotork Standards. He/She will be a leader and motivator in the introduction and diffusion of a concrete and effective safety culture.

Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:

? Coordinate the activities of the Risk Prevention and Protection Service ensuring the execution of the tasks assigned as ASPP as per D.Lgs. 81/2008.

? Ensure compliance, completeness and updating of mandatory and necessary documents in compliance with current legislation.

? Ensuring the keeping, development and updating of the Environment, Health and Safety Management System (UNI EN ISO 14001 ? 45001) which contains the procedures applicable in the company.

? Assist managers and supervisors in the analysis of injuries, environmental accidents, near misses, reports of improvement by workers (Safety Spot), documenting the results and contributing to the identification of the related corrective actions.

? Carry out accident statistics analysis and monitoring activities of company KPIs related to health, safety and the environment, with relative updating of reports.

? Identify critical processes for the environment, safety and health at work, identify hazards, estimate risks and assess them; research / study / design the most suitable prevention, protection and control measures.

? Conduct Risk Assessment and Job Safety Analysis directly in the production environment. ? Ensuring the execution of the improvement projects assigned as part of its job. ? Ensure that the technical-structural standards of the law relating to equipment/machines and other goods

in general are respected and that all the necessary documentation is acquired, including the certifications required by law. ? Ensure that proper maintenance and periodic checks of company equipment are carried out, with particular attention to those specifically regulated (overhead cranes, pressure tanks, etc.) in collaboration with internal functions and with specialized external companies. ? Keep the list of chemicals used in the company under control and constantly updated, ensuring the appropriate information-training of the operators involved for each change. ? Plan and conduct periodic internal audits in order to periodically verify the effectiveness of the application of the procedures adopted; follow and document the second and third party inspection visits, elaborating comments during the visits and verifications by the competent authorities. ? Manage contracted activities, evaluating whether they fall as per art. 26 of DL 81/2008 or Title IV of DL 81/2008. ? Coordinate the Firefighting, Emergency and First Aid teams and related drills. ? Ensure correct assignment and management of Personal Protective Equipment for personnel.

Qualifications & Technical knowledge: Essential ? Specialized or technical degree, preferably relating to the role ? Previous experience of 3-5 in the role within structured companies ? Mastery of safety and the environment regulations ? Knowledge of international Standards on Safety and Environmental Management Systems ? Ability to analyze data and generate reports ? Use of the main IT tools, excellent knowledge of the MS Office package, with particular regard to Excel and Power Point ? Good knowledge of English, written and spoken

Desirable ? Specific qualifying course for the professional figure of ASPP provided by D.Lgs 81/08 ? Certificate of qualification for Auditor of one or more Management Systems (14001-45001 - OHSAS 18001) ? Mechanical/ Electrotechnical and plant engineering experience ? Knowledge of the operation of plants and machinery from a maintenance perspective
