Virtual Scavenger Hunt

Log in to Starfish by visiting the Students pages or etown.edu and click on the Starfish button. Use your JayWeb username and password.

1. On the Home tab check out your Dashboard, is anything listed there? If so list it below. (If not, this is where you will see any Flags or Kudos as well as upcoming assignments)

2. Check your messages, has anyone sent you a message? (Don't worry you won't have to check this often, any messages that are sent will also appear in your email)

3. List 2 members of your "Success Network".

4. What's the name of your first course listed in the "Courses" section?

5. Check out the overview and biography of your faculty members, describe something interesting you learned about one of your faculty members?

6. How could you use Starfish or the info in Starfish to contact a faculty or staff member on campus?

7. Check out the services tab, what are the hours and phone number of one of the campus service providers? (Hint: There are 2 pages of service providers, be sure to tab over to the second page)

8. Visit the webpage of one of the service providers, who is a staff member you could contact in that office if you were interested in their services?

9. Lastly, visit the "Raise your Hand" page, take note of the different options for assistance, (you may need to know this information for the future). Find the one titled "Virtual Scavenger Hunt", leave the course title blank and enter the names of your peer mentors in the details section then click submit. If you are an upper class student, enter the name of your advisor.
