ELIZABETH CITY-PASQUOTANK COUNTY PARKS & RECREATION ADVISORY BOARD The Parks & Recreation Advisory Board is a requirement of the Interlocal Agreement between the City and County entered into on April 27, 2010, which consolidated the provision of parks and recreation services to the citizens of Elizabeth City and Pasquotank County. The Board makes recommendations to the City Council and the County Commission regarding all matters relating to parks and recreation services. The Board meets on the second Thursday of each month at 5:30 p.m. at Knobbs Creek Recreation Center. Membership consists of one County Commissioner, one City Councilor, two County citizens, two City citizens and one member appointed jointly by City and County. Terms are for two years, with a six year limit.
