I am overwhelmed with pride when I think about what each of you have been able to accomplish through the challenges of attending college during a pandemic. Being selected to receive these academic awards is but one of the milestones you will pass in your careers, and it is always a pleasure to be able to celebrate your success. Your hard work and determination are being recognized at today's Academic Awards ceremony, and you deserve this time as we acknowledge the winners across campus.

The CSU faculty is so privileged to see you reach your goals. Keep on growing, keep on achieving. Take strength from these words of Christ:

"I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing." John 15:5
