One of our potters will help you step by step to make beautiful handmade bowls using plaster molds. The potters travel to Arley on Mondays and Fridays. They meet to car pool about 8AM and drive to Meek HS, which takes about 50 minutes. They make bowls till around 11:30 or 12 and then break for lunch and then return to the school and work till around 3 pm or so and drive back to Cullman around 4 pm. As a volunteer, you will learn about the pottery making process and be helping to provide bowls for a wonderful event, which helps many people in our community. February 18, 2013 will be the 10th Anniversary of Empty Bowls of Cullman County, so we will need lots and lots of bowls and people to help make them.
