II. Class Presentation, Monday, May 19 or Tuesday, May 20

(No more than 10 minutes – TIME THE PRESENTATION!)

This should be an informative presentation by the group on their decade. In addition to the PowerPoint/Prezi, each group should have a “performance” for this presentation. The performance can be live, audio, video, internet-based etc. The performance should be counted in the 10 minute presentation timeframe. Please compose a presentation script. This will be turned in with the PowerPoint/Prezi and your recipes as stated above.

III. Foods of the Decade

Each group is responsible for researching and cooking three recipes from their decade. Be sure to make larger recipes so that your parents and peers are able to taste each recipe. The foods will be part of the Rock Music Seminar Night (Thursday, May 22). The recipes should be turned in with the PowerPoint/Prezi and the presentation script on your class presentation date (May 19 or

May 20). See below for more information on the Rock Music Seminar Night.

IV. Rock Music Seminar Night

On the Rock Music Seminar Night, each group will present a five minute overview of their decade. Please do not go over the five minutes. Time this presentation before the Rock Music Seminar Night. The presentation should include a brief overview of the decade (you may or may not want to use your PowerPoint/Prezi) and a brief “performance” (audio, live, video, internet-based) that shows the characteristics of the styles of rock in your decade. Be sure to prepare “listen for” statements to help your audience understand the styles better. See the Rock Era Project Assessment Sheet to understand how these presentations will be graded.

The Rock Music Seminar Night date is Thursday,

May 22, 6-7 pm.
