Third Annual Prayer Pilgrimage is Sunday August 26th 2018 at Assumption BVM Church in Centralia, The Pilgrimage begins at Noon with the Divine Liturgy, response will be sung by the National Choir. At 2:00 Their will be a living rosary and a candlelight procession will be at 4:30 There will be light refreshments for purchase throughout the day.

Fr. Frank is taking his vacation form Sunday Afternoon August 5th to Friday Afternoon August 10th. Fr. Michael Rotahn chaplain at Bucknell University will be filling in for daily confessions, daily Mass, Funerals and any emergencies. (Every Priest according to Canon Law is entitled to one month’s vacation each year but I only take 5 days, Fr. Frank)

There will be no Catholic Daughters of America meeting in August, the next one will be September 9th.

Attention Parents: CCD Begins Sunday Sept. 16th for 6,7, & 8th Grades 5:45 PM to 7:00 PM and Monday Sept 17th for 1st through 5th Grades 5:45 to 7:00 PM Registration Forms are available at the office.

Confirmation: Did you know that if a Catholic was never confirmed that according to Cannon Law, the Universal Law of the Church, that person will never be allowed to be a sponsor at a Baptism? You must be confirmed to be a Sponsor.

Thank You to Rita Buhay For her Faithful Volunteer Service as the CCD Security Person, whose job it was to buzz in the CCD children safely. She will be stepping down and Deacon McCarthy will be joining Joe Murray on this duty, and we generously thank him . We are looking for a back-up person for this very important task. Seventh Rule of Discernment written by St. Ignatius of Loyola:

Let him who is in desolation consider how the Lord has left him in trial in his natural powers, in order to resist the different agitations and temptations of the enemy; since he can with the Divine help, which always remains to him, tough he does not clearly perceive it: because the Lord has taken from him his great fervor, great love and intense grace, leaving him, however, grace enough for eternal salvation.

Adoration at St. Pauline Center

Adoration is held at the St. Pauline Center Fridays from noon until 10:00 PM and Saturdays 5:00 AM to 7:00 PM. The Chaplet of Divine Mercy is prayed in the chapel on Fridays at 3:00 PM

Infant Baptism is celebrated the first and last Sunday of each month. Parents are required to participate in a preparatory session prior to having your baby

Baptized. Church law dictates specific guidelines. Please call the parish office for specific information and to arrange an appointment to begin the process.

SACARMENT OF MATRIMONY

In order to facilitate marriage preparation Diocesan policy requires that preparation begins 9 to 12 months prior to the date of the intended wedding. Please be sure to check with Church prior to make all other wedding plans. Upon initial contact with the parish you will be assigned a mentor couple who will work with you in the preparing for marriage,

SACRAMENT OF THE SICK

Please call the parish office anytime to request the Sacrament of Anointing of the Sick. Father Karwacki and our Eucharistic Minister's take Holy

Communion each month on First Friday. Please call if you or a family member desires to be added to the monthly Communion list.

BRINGING THE BREAD AND WINE TO THE ALTAR

If you have scheduled a Mass for your loved one and you wish to bring up the bread, wine and the collection You must speak with the ushers first.
