Returning Your Chorus Dress

On Tuesday, May 21st we will have several parent volunteers on hand to collect the black chorus gowns that were rented this year. They will be checking the dresses to be sure that they are still in the same condition as when they were rented (no rips / tears and a working zipper). Please remember that, as mentioned in the rental contract, the dresses need to be dry cleaned before they are returned. Please bring the dress in the plastic wrap with the tag from the cleaners. Thank you!

Dresses for Next Year

If you can believe it, it's already time to start planning for next school year. All ladies in the Beginning Women's Choir who will be participating in the choir program next year will need to purchase one of the blue chorus gowns (worn by Belle Voix, Harmonia, and Chamber Choir). These dresses take a significant amount of time to be made and shipped to Newsome, so it is necessary to order them now so that they arrive in time for the fall concert next year. Parent volunteers will be on hand to fit the girls on May 14th and 15th.

Cost - $120 Deposit of $60 due by Friday, May 24th (the exam day for the class) Remaining Balance ($60) due at "Ready, Set, Sing" in early august

There are many dresses available for purchase that have been gently used and returned. We obviously only have whatever sizes have been collected, so there is no guarantee that they will be available for everyone, but we will of course do our best! These gowns cost $60 and can be purchased on a first contact basis. Please reach out to Linda Farella at JLA6130@ as soon as possible if you are interested. These used dresses tend to sell quickly.

If for some reason, a situation arises that causes a student to no longer be in the choir (moving away from the area, schedule conflict, etc), a refund of the deposit will be given.
