Dear Federated Sisters, Happy Fall, Y'all! The weather is

finally star ng to change and the leaves are changing colors. It's my favorite me of year. Who doesn't enjoy observing the leaves from the trees and plants changing into mul -colored works of art before finally falling away? The bare and vulnerable branches that are created reveal the true and beau ful scenery underneath. In the southern part of the United States, all the seasons are very apparent. The spring season is very green, the summer is very hot (and long), the winter is cool and the fall is full of magnificent colors. The maple trees are especially vibrant with colors of red and golden-yellow and combina-

ons of both. This season is perfect for taking beau ful scenic photos and spending me outdoors. Nothing can relax and rejuvenate you more than enjoying nature and its surrounding scenery. These beau ful scenes are a perfect opportunity to par cipate in the photography contest!

Autumn is the "cooling off" month right between the blazing summer and chilly winter. When the cooler temperatures of fall start rolling in, saying goodbye to summer is not hard to do. Au-

tumn is a great me to break out the jackets, coats, boots, scarves and hats in prepara on for the change in season. It's also the perfect me to start making hot cocoa and ligh ng a fire in the fireplace. This season creates the perfect se ng for a sense of comfort, warmth and reflec on. It's a great me to camp or take a road trip or anything else where you can spend quality me with family while ea ng good food.

Autumn is a part of the jampacked holiday season. There's the back-to-school rush, Halloween, and Thanksgiving before rolling into winter and Christmas. And these aren't just regular old holidays. These are all very involved, family-centered holidays, as well as mes to volunteer to help others. There are Halloween par es to sponsor at the local domes c violence shelter, the school supplies to gather for less fortunate students, the desserts to bake and sell to raise club funds, and the veterans to think of with cards and gi s.

Autumn is the season to be thankful and to be surrounded by the people you love. It's the perfect me

to change up your decora-

ons by adding orange, red and yellow colors and to pull out the spicescented candles. The holiday season encourages you to spend

me thinking about what you and your family have been through in the last year as well as the memories you've made together while looking forward to a new and exci ng year. I hope you do this as well with your club friends.

As you prepare to end 2019 in this autumn season, I hope you enjoy the beau ful colors, the crisp air, being cozy by a fire, and enjoying SEC football! Remember your club deadlines ? sending in dues by Dec 1 and club reporng ends December 31.

In Federa on Friendship this Fall, Tina Daniel

Corresponding Secretary Cimi Douglass

Parliamentary Advisor Shirene Daniell

I am always reminded at this me of the year of just how Blessed I am. I am so grateful and thankful for my Faith, Family and Friends. What are you grateful for this year? While life is not perfect and certainly not easy at mes, I believe that we can all find something to be thankful for this year. Is it the wink of an eye from your favorite "someone"; or is it a big hug from a friend for no reason at all; is it the laugh a baby; or maybe the happy squeal of a child running through the house; or maybe a phone call from one of your children to just say "I Love You"; or a stranger who offers to change your re in the cold weather; or or or ? the list goes on. As I think about these and so many other things that make us happy, maybe our thought should be how we can bless someone else. With our busy schedules, it seems hard and even impossible at mes to be that Light
