* Note: Usually we work on grammar for the first 55 minutes, second 55 minutes involve work with Technical texts (I worked at a technical university).

A traditional class involves a grammar lecture and drill exercises from the textbook. Usually it takes 55 minutes. Surprisingly, a 6-7 minute video lecture may take 30-35 minutes in class lecturing. Instead of drill exercises sometimes I used a Brain Storming activity and drill exercises as homework. I think students will better understand rules if first, they watch the video at their own pace at home and then in class they discuss/explain the rule to other students. The collaboration skills enhancement is missing in the traditional classroom.
