Golden Gala, Central Florida's premier black-tie affair, celebrates how generosity heals with a spectacular evening featuring fine cuisine,

silent and live auctions and first-class entertainment.

For more than 36 years, Florida Hospital's mission of extending the healing ministry of Christ has been celebrated through one spectacular community event -- Golden Gala. Founded in 1980 by a volunteer organization, the Circle of Friends, Gala has grown abundantly through the generous support and service of the community. Each year, we celebrate our community and wonderful accomplishments in health with first-class entertainment, such as past performers Jerry Seinfeld, Michael Buble, Jennifer Hudson, Martina McBride, Smokey Robinson and Jay Leno. This sell-out, exclusive weekend event annually attracts more than 2,300 attendees and has generously funded vital programs and historic projects at Florida Hospital. The areas of greatest need selected by the Circle of Friends have included the Florida Hospital for Women's Patient Assistance Fund, Florida Hospital Cancer Institute's Multiple Myeloma Research, Florida Hospital for Children's Level IV Epilepsy Center and more.
