This new club’s focus will be on learning to care for and train dogs to be well-

mannered and well-behaved, make training plans and introduce training methods

used by animal husbandry professionals. The 4-H’er could then pursue a training

path for competitive canine sports such as obedience, agility, rally, nose work,

barn-hunt, dock diving and free-style. The programming will also introduce the 4-H’er to basic canine husbandry and the vast number of careers which could be pursued.
