Things To Do This Summer!

When it's hot outside, or rainy, the kids are bored, or your friends are out of town, and the days are long, consider doing a few of these fun things!

Plan a family gettogether. It can be a cookout, a picnic, a shrimp boil, or cooking over a campfire. Show a movie outside, plan relay races or card games. Use your imagination and let all family members help with the planning!

Take time to develop your prayer or devotion

time. Things are slower in the summer;

it's a great time to get in a new routine of PRAYER!

Check out a great Christian fiction book from the Garber Library. We have historical fiction, love stories, mysteries, and more! We also have a nice selection of children's books for preschool thru elementary kids! The library is located on the 3rd floor of the Ministry Center. Turn left off the elevator, Library will be on your right.

Visit a friend or neighbor, take a flower or cupcake to a friend, write a note or send a card to family members

It's the perfect time to buy small toys, t-shirts, flipflops, etc. School supplies will soon be at their lowest prices. Go ahead and

purchase shipping labels, 1-3 per month, online at . GO boxes are available on both ministry

campuses all summer. Have fun decorating the boxes, adding a family picture, or writing a letter to the child who will receive the box. Be a "Gospel-Giver!"
