Suzanne continued to teach until her son was born in 1996, and she has been able to be at home with all of her children – Mitchell, age 12; Jaclyn, age 10; and Julianne, age 7. Her children keep her busy with home, school, and other activities. As a family, they like to hike, camp, and ski. Suzanne enjoys quilt piecing, reading, and being able to take care of whatever needs to be done.

A few months ago, Suzanne and her family moved to a house in West Jordan. She says that it has been fun and challenging to adapt the home to fit the needs of their family.

She lived in California for years, when she was not traveling. She has traveled around the world. Her favorite destination was Japan, where she taught English and modeled.

For the past seven years, Karyn’s life has been impacted greatly by the diagnosis of Fibromyalgia. Currently, she has her own business in one of the local shops where she lives. She makes lamps and creates custom made picture memory boxes for those who have passed on - whether they are a pet or a relative. She is also a photographer of still life and black and whites. Jerry Gibson

After graduation, Jerry attended Snow College for one quarter and then went on a mission to Madrid, Spain. Shortly after his return, he started dating again. After a few dates, his brother set him up on a blind date with his secretary. Six weeks later they were engaged. Michele called it off a couple of times, but his stubbornness prevailed and they were married 9 months after they met.

Jerry and Michele moved to West Jordan. A little over a year later, their first daughter was born. After four years in that apartment and with two children, they moved to an apartment in Sandy. They lived there for a couple of years and finally built a house in Clearfield.

During all this time, Jerry had been attending a few different colleges (U of U, Utah State, SLCC) in pursuit of an Elementary Education Teaching degree. He finally decided that his family situation and the role at work would make it difficult to become a teacher, so he started focusing on business and marketing. He graduated from SLCC and then finished up his schooling at Weber State.

Since moving to Clearfield, they have had three more children. They now range from 4 to 16 years old. They have 4 girls and 1 boy. Megan is 16, Camrie is 14, Karly is 10, Trevor is 8, and Sydnee is 4. They are a lot of fun and they are very good kids. This Fall, Jerry will be celebrating his 18th wedding anniversary with his beautiful wife Michele.

Four months after returning from his mission, he was hired as a data entry clerk for Marriott Hotels. He has been there ever since - in various roles from data entry to computer programmer to his current role of Technical Project Manager. His current position is in the timeshare division of Marriott. This part of Marriott is a lot of fun because their entire focus is to make sure their timeshare owners have a great vacation. But it’s also quite a bit busier than the other divisions he’s worked in.

Many years ago, Jerry dropped his quest to become a teacher. But a few years ago, an opportunity presented itself to become an adjunct professor at SLCC. For three years now, he has been teaching a class in Digital Multimedia. It incorporates many of the things he enjoys - computers, marketing, and creativity. Jerry says that it does make life rough sometimes, since it takes up two nights a week each semester, but it is fun.

One of Jerry’s favorite memories from high school is playing Uno and other card games at lunch.

Jeanette Weber Gray

A week after Graduation, Jeanette was shipped off to boot camp for the Navy. She spent the next four and half years in various places - Orlando, Florida, San Diego, California, Millington, Tennesse, and Jacksonville, South Carolina. She says that she met some fantastic people and did things she would have never imagined if she had stayed home.

Jeanette met her first husband in North Carolina. They were married and two years later she gave birth to her daughter, Kristine Lynn, who is now 16 years old. Shortly after her daughter was born, Jeanette was honorably discharged from the service. They then moved back to Utah. The next summer they moved to Massachusetts, which is where her husband was from. They were divorced a year and a half later.

Jeanette moved back to Roosevelt, UT with her parents. She got a job in Vernal, UT at Little Caesars. That is where she met her second husband. She was promoted to manager of her own store and moved to Price, UT, and then to Payson, UT. She was then promoted to the area supervisor over all the Little Caesars in Utah County, Price and Vernal. While working for Little Caesar’s, she put herself through college, graduating with a 4.0. After 8 long miserable years, she divorced her second husband, quit Little Caesars, and moved to Idaho. She says that Idaho has been the best place to raise her daughter. She treasures the relationship she has with her daughter and they are best friends.

A year and a half after moving to Idaho, two very wonderful young ladies knocked on her door. After a few months of visiting, Jeanette made another change in her life and became a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She says that this has opened her eyes to so many new and wonderful things.

Jeanette works for Doug Andrus Distributing; they are a trucking company based out of Idaho Falls, ID. She works with 250+ truck drivers. Through her work, she is able to meet quite a few interesting people. She has learned a lot about the trucking industry.

Jeanette is very happy with her life and how it has turned out. She says that she could not have asked for a more loving family, a more beautiful daughter and a job that she enjoy.

Maka Havili

1st slide

Maka says that there are so many good memories and funny memories to share. Here is one of them…

“We were in Mr. Johnson’s English Class. I cannot remember who I was sitting behind but I think it was Clint Eliason and he had a cup of ice and he was chewing the ice. Kristen Duckworth sat in the next seat across from Clint and told Clint “You are going to choke!” Clint turns to her and chumps on the ice. Part way through the class, Clint started to choke on the ice. He was trying to cough the ice out and looked at Kristen who glanced up and said “See I told you. Now wait until the ice melts.” Clint sits quietly for about 2 seconds and when he realizes that the ice will not melt in time and starts to panic. I am sitting there wondering what I should do when Todd Bills from behind me jumps up to give Clint mouth-to-mouth and when he gets to Clint the ice pops out.”

2nd slide – Maka Havili

After graduation, Maka attended the University of Utah for the summer and lived in the dorms. He enjoyed his time at Utah and had not made a decision where to go to school. After discussion with his family and experiences that summer, he decided to attend BYU.

Maka attended a year at BYU and then went on a Mission to California San Bernardino. He was assigned to Indio, Pomona, Upland/Rancho Cucamonga, and Apple Valley. He saw God’s hand at work and as he reflects back on the experience the more he see God’s hand at work in his life.

After returning from a mission, Maka went back to BYU. His freshman year was spent taking classes that he enjoyed and having fun. The courses he completed his freshman year were in line with a Chemical Engineering degree so he declared it as his major. As he continued to pursue his degree, he gained an interest in Environmental Engineering and realized that in a total of 5 calendar years that he could complete a Master’s in Civil Engineering and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering with an Environmental Engineering emphasis. During college, Maka did research at UCLA, and internships at Idaho National Engineering Labs, and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.

In April 1994, he graduated with his Masters and Bachelors degrees. After graduation, he was engaged to Lesli Joan Hicks and they were married in August 1994.

Maka decided to work for Geneva Steel as an Environmental Engineer working on air pollution issues. This was a very challenging job and he worked with great people. Geneva Steel paid for further education so he pursued a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and completed the program in 1997. As part of the MBA education, he spent two weeks in Europe visiting a number of companies to understand the way they do business and learning about their culture.

Maka realized that Geneva Steel was struggling financially and started looked around for a new job. He found a job at Micron Technology, Inc. at the Lehi plant and accepted a position as an Environmental Engineer. While at Micron, he prepared and took the Professional Engineering Exam and passed it. He is a licensed Professional Engineer.

Environmental Engineering involves a lot of regulatory review and reporting and not much engineering. Micron’s Lehi plant construction stopped so he applied and accepted a transfer to Boise as a Chemical Engineer. This new job was exactly what he went to school for. He was involved in engineering for many systems but he became specialized in cryogenic liquids and gaseous material distribution. In addition, he was involved in designing environmental disposal systems.

In the summer of 2007, Micron was struggling and had lay-offs, so Maka decided to check out what opportunities were available. He started a discussion with Monsanto in Soda Springs and accepted an offer and started employment with them in March 2008 as a Design Chemical Engineer.

Maka and Lesli have been looking for a home in Soda Springs since January 2008 and have not found a home that would work for them. Recently, the movers came to pack and load their belongings and on July 14th they moved into a small two bedroom rental (with many of their possessions being stored). He jokes that he is basically homeless and just barely landed a job.

Maka’s wife, Lesli grew up in Northern California in the little town of Etna. She came to BYU and then went on a mission to the Philippines. Maka says that they knew that they saw each other several times before they started dating but he says that he was not memorable enough for her. His first real recollection of seeing her was at a culture night at BYU. Among many groups that performed, the Filipino group performed a dance number. He was sitting in the audience wondering what this white girl was doing dancing with the Filipinos. It turned out to be Lesli!

Lesli graduated with a Bachelor’s in Home Economics Education in April 1994. After their engagement, she accepted a teaching position in Orem, Utah. She pursued a Master’s degree in Home Economics Education and completed that degree in August 1996 from Utah State University. She taught at BYU before Maka was transferred to Boise. While in Boise, she has focused her degrees on their children, home, and her husband.

Their oldest child, Ashlei was born in July 1996. She will be entering the 7th grade. She has been participating in a full-time gifted and talented program over the past four years. Ashlei loves to read, cook, make crafts, write, and eat. Maika was born in November 1999. He will be entering the second grade. Maika loves sports and any sort of game. He is very talkative and has a great imagination. He has a soft heart and is kind. Before he entered Kindergarten, he had been to 36 states. Samuel was born in June 2003. Samuel is a very unique child. He is optimistic and enjoys just about everything and every day. Recently, he told Maka “this is the best day of my life”. Karlie was born November 2006. She is very expressive and explains what is happening or has happened to her.

Lisa Howell Higgins

After graduating from Kearns High, Lisa enjoyed four years at Southern Utah University. She graduated with a BA in Communication in 1991. She then moved into what she calls the “lost years.” Her early to mid-twenties consisted of a lot of aimless jobs, a short stint in Vegas, and a lot of good times. Somewhere around age 25, Lisa realized that she should actually do something professionally that she wanted to do. So she quit her job.

Fortunately, Lisa found someone who gave her a shot as a copywriter—the starting point of ten years working in marketing and communications. During that time she did what she could to make the most of her time away from work: camping, hiking, and weekend jaunts here and there. The good news is that during her lost years, she made a good friend who later introduced her to her husband, Brian, who had relocated to SLC from upstate New York. In 1991, they moved to Massachusetts for a career opportunity which led to another opportunity in Memphis. Lisa was pregnant with their first daughter when they moved to Memphis and she decided to take a professional break.

Since arriving in the land of all that is Elvis, they have become parents to two daughters, Abby (age 3) and Erin (age 2) and have also acquired two dogs. For now the Higgins are enjoying their girls, sweet tea, and some seriously good BBQ.

Prior to serving in the Guard, he was Active Duty in the Navy for 11 years.

Kristal attended a Community College for a short time but never finished her degree. Richard is currently taking college courses to get a degree in Computer Security.

One of their favorite memories about Kearns High was being on the swim team

Donna Lewis Kelton

Donna received a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration and also a Masters of Business Administration (MBA). She is a general manager of an aviation service company, who provide sub-contracted services to major airlines. She has been working there for the past 14 years.

Donna lives in Las Vegas, Nevada. She is divorced, but has been dating a wonderful guy named Bob. She has 2 children. Amanda is 20 and Emily is 16. She also has a grandson, Sean Le born on May 20th, 2008.

Heidi Neumeier Leek

After graduation, Heidi decided to take a year off before going to college. She says that one year break has now turned into 21 years. She worked at JB’s Restaurant until a car accident made it difficult to do her job – carrying food, bus tubs, etc. At that time, she was not sure what she wanted to be when she grew up and she didn’t want to spend thousands of dollars trying to find out. She says that if she went to college, she was expected to foot the whole bill. She had an interest in the medical field but still was not sure what to be. Her brother, Ken, had a friend from high school and his parents owned the Bryman School, so she checked into it and signed up for the Medical Secretary program. After completion of the program, she went to work for an optometrist for about six months. She was offered a position with a family physician as a billing specialist and later worked as his office manager. By the fall of 1989, she needed a more stable job because Heidi and Troy were talking about getting married. She took a new position as a receptionist for a company called Med Data, Inc. She worked her way from receptionist, to data entry clerk, to customer service rep and finally to accounts receivable clerk. They did billing for emergency room physicians from Ogden to Orem.

Heidi and her husband were married in August 1990 after five years of dating. They broke ground on their home five days after they said their vows.

In 1992, Heidi’s father was diagnosed with esophageal cancer and was given a year to live by his family physician. He went to the Mayo Clinic and had surgery to remove the cancer. Luckily they caught it in time and he is still here today. Because of this experience, Heidi and Troy decided that life was too short to wait any longer to start a family. Their first daughter, Caitlin was born in 1993.

After the birth of their second child, Megan, in 1995, Heidi left Med Data and went to work for First Health - processing claims. She worked nights so their girls had minimal time in daycare. This put a lot of stress on their family and by December of 1995 she left First Health and went to Cigna in their workers compensation division. Heidi was very happy working there. However, in 1999, Cigna sold their Property and Casualty Division to ACE, Inc. and the new company closed all the remote offices, including Heidi’s, and laid off all employees. Heidi actually left before the layoffs. She felt it was the perfect opportunity to spend more time with her girls. She then tried working from home for ACS, but the work was not consistent enough.

Heidi’s children were accepted to St. John the Baptist for the fall of 1999. Her aunt, who is the superintendent of catholic schools in Salt Lake, encouraged her to apply for a job at the school. She applied and was hired as an after school teacher for the second grade children. Taking that position was a good decision and enabled her to be closer to her girls and be more involved in their education. By her second year of employment she was the Director’s assistant and she is currently the Assistant Director.

Heidi and her husband, Troy have been married for almost 18 years. They have two beautiful girls. Caitlin is 15 and Megan is 13. They have spent this past school year at So. Jordan Middle School, which they love. Caitlin will be a sophomore at Bingham High School this fall.

Heidi and her family loves to travel. They have been to Puerto Vallarta twice amd Cancun once. Every year Heidi attends the NAEYC (National Association for the Education of Young Children) conference with her boss. That conference has allowed them to travel to Anaheim, Washington DC, and Chicago. This year they will be heading to Dallas.

Catrina Crofts Leffel

After graduation, Catrina took a vacation to Cedar City to visit her sister and decided to spend the summer taking her first college courses at Southern Utah State College. It was then that she realized that she really did want to go to college and everything just fell into place for her to start fall semester at Brigham Young University. Catrina spent the next four years studying Anatomy and Physiology with a plan to continue on with medical school after graduating. In April 1991, she graduated from BYU with a Bachelor’s degree in Zoology and a big smile on her face, even though she had no money, no job, and she was $12,000 in debt for student loans.

Catrina met Tim in her last semester at BYU. They are the product of a blind date conspiracy by her roommates. They did have fun though and started dating. The summer after she graduated, she drove out to Oregon for a week to visit Tim in his hometown of Eagle Point. They were engaged later that summer.

Catrina soon found a job working for Intermountain Health Care at Cottonwood Hospital Back Institute. She was employed as a Physical Therapy Aide. She really enjoyed the environment and working with the patients and the Physical Therapists.

Catrina and Tim were married on December 21, 1991. Tim was still attending BYU, so they lived in Provo and Catrina commuted to Salt Lake every day to go to work.

After a few years working at the Back Institute, Catrina landed an awesome job as the Office Manager. She worked at the Back Institute for almost 5 years, until their first baby was born in October 1995. She has continued to be a stay at home mom ever since. And she enjoys every minute of it.

In April 1994, her husband graduated from BYU with a Bachelors and a Masters in Accountancy. He decided to accept a position as an Auditor for the Utah State Auditors Office and Catrina was happy to move up north to Murray, just a few minutes away from her work. They lived there in a small apartment until their first baby was born and then they bought a starter home in Magna. Since then, they have lived in West Valley for several years. They recently built a home in Murray. They are so happy to be living there and to live so close to the Murray School District Office, where her husband works as Business Administrator.

Tim and Catrina have been married for 16 years. They really enjoy their family. They love spending time with their five children. Ashlyn is 12 years old. Corissa is 9 years old. Their twin boys, Michael and Bobby are 7 years old. And their 3rd son, Joey is 3 years old.

As a family, they enjoy traveling to Oregon to visit Tim’s family, taking a vacation to Disneyland, or just camping nearby. Tim and Catrina have enjoyed a few trips, without the kids, to New York, Washington DC, and Orlando, Florida. Some of the activities that Catrina enjoys are digital scrap booking, taking pictures, and creating family movies and slideshows. She loves cooking, reading, and attending her children’s sporting events.

Catrina has a lot of fun memories from high school, especially of being on the drill team. She remembers getting up every morning at 5 am to go to Kearns for drill team practice. She says that it was always so much fun! Also, she really enjoyed going to many football, baseball, and basketball games. One of her favorite memories is when the “boys drill team” performed. She thought it was hilarious! One of her favorite classes was AP Calculus – where one could always find good friends and a wonderful teacher who was very supportive.

Kaylin’s favorite memory from High School was being chosen as a Sterling Scholar and having to put the portfolio together.

Kim Swanson Massey

In June 1987, just two weeks after graduation, Kim moved with her family to Anaheim, CA. At the end of the summer, she was hours away from returning to UT to go to college, and live in their house in Kearns. She changed her mind at the last minute. She met some new friends, had a crush on a cute boy, and started to enjoy CA. She had decided to stay. It was during that summer that she met, Kelvin, the man she married years later. At the end of the summer, she started dating her first husband, Steve; four years later they married. She worked as a Franchise Development Consultant, selling franchises until 1994 when they decided to relocate to SLC.

In Utah, they rented a house in Cottonwood and Kim went to work for a food broker as an inside sales rep. She stayed with that job until 1996, when her first daughter, Dana was born. From the moment she was born, Kim was committed to being a full-time mom and had no desire to return to a career. About two years later her husband decided to get an MBA at University of CA – Irvine; so they relocated back to California. He went to school, and she continued to be a stay-at-home mom. In December 2000, they had their second daughter, Nicole. Shortly thereafter they bought a house in Ladera Ranch, CA. Kim continued to go to school and raise her children, while at the same time starting a construction business with her husband. First Choice Construction Co., Inc. is a small construction firm specializing in custom bathroom & kitchen remodels, fireplaces, and custom entertainment centers.

After graduating in June 2006 with a Bachelors degree in Health Science, Kim started working as a research assistant for Sun Safe Schools. Although the office is in Burbank, CA, she is able to work from home with a flex schedule. She can take care of her family during the day, and get work done at night and on the weekends. When she is not working, she enjoys the summers with her kids, being involved in their school activities, chasing a preschooler around, and helping her husband with their business whenever possible. Kim says that they are homebodies and they enjoy watching movies, reading, and having family dinners. Their “big fun” is taking a road trip to see family in Utah, or staying close to home and taking the kids to the local amusement parks.

“If I was rude or mean to anyone during school, please realize I was just too ignorant and immature to know the consequences. Please accept my apology. And Maka, I still like you even after our scuffle on the field. Knowing me, you were probably right. After traveling to some pretty sad, scary and run down places and seeing life from one extreme to the other, I have learned to appreciate things we normally take for granted. Such as food, water, friends and family, homes not made of cardboard, and most of all our freedom. Take care and I wish all the best for everyone.”

Ken Sargent

2nd slide

At age 17, Kenny went to see a Marine recruiter. This is also when he met Tonia, 16 at the time, his wife now of 19 years. They both visited the recruiter together and were convinced to both join. Kenny convinced his older brother and two friends that this was also a great idea. These referrals insured him a LCPL rank upon graduation from boot camp. He graduated from high school and was ready to go off to boot camp. Kenny and Tonia decided to be married on March 21, 1987. Kenny entered boot camp on July 21, 1987. Three months later Tonia and their 3 month old daughter Tasha, met Kenny at MCRD for his graduation. His Job was a Motor Transport Mechanic. Their first orders were to Camp Lejeune, N.C. They were there for 3years. Their second daughter Alishia was born.

Kenny went to numerous mechanic schools at this time. He received orders to Okinawa for a year alone. He returned in 1992 and headed back to Camp Lejeune for another 3 years. He volunteered for a med. float over those 3 years, so this meant gone for 6 months, home for 9 months and gone again for 6 months. He was then given orders to Barstow, California. He traveled around to different reserve units checking their trucks and gear for inspections. After 3 years, he was screened for Recruiting duty. He was then stationed in Corpus Christi, Texas. This was a challenging detail that took a lot of time and detail. He acquired his first and only tatoo at this time, which was to represent a milestone for him. He had the EGA put on his left shoulder.

He fulfilled his 3 years and moved to Camp Pendleton, California. Upon arriving to Camp Pendleton, Kenny was attached to a unit due to rotate out for training and deployment to Iraq. Six months later he was deployed to Iraq for 8 months. He joined the med float rotation over there and floated back on ship. He was now attached to another deploying unit aboard a med float. Six months later they deployed and headed back to Iraq. Kenny was the Motor Transport chief and had 16 marines working in a separate location from the main group. They ran Motor Transport support from that area.

3rd slide

On August 5, 2004, Kenny and his marines had volunteered to assist a grunt unit and Kenny was in an amtrack above his marines. He felt this was the best way to see them all. Kenny was hit by enemy fire from a ricochet of a bullet. These fragments entered under his right eye and exited out the left side of his head. This left him with a severe brain injury. He was sent to Bagdad for 5 days, transported to Germany for 24 hours and was then airlifted to Bethesda, Maryland on August 11, 2005. Tonia left their daughters home alone, asking neighbors to look in on them, and she flew to Washington DC, and was reunited with him on August 12th. She nearly collapsed after seeing Kenny in the intensive-care unit, broken, unconscious, his body invaded with tubes, she could hardly recognize him. She said, “Squeeze my hand if you know who I am.” He squeezed.

Kenny and Tonia have always been a strong team and they would strive to overcome this obstacle as well. Tonia was his bedside nurse for two months. She moved into his hospital room and took charge. She learned all of his medications and when he needed them. She charted every ounce of fluid that went in or out of him and hung the records on the door for his nurses. Tonia rarely left his bedside, showering him, shaving him, and taking him to the bathroom. Kenny arrived home on October 22, 2005. He is still a Marine. He attends therapy and doctor visits and is on a climbing road to recovery.

4th slide

In November 2005, Ken was invited to be a guest speaker at MCRD to a group of 250 recruits. The recruits were two weeks away from their graduation. He spoke about his life and experiences in the United States Marine Corps. The recruits asked many questions such as:

Do you regret going in?

How did you feel getting shot?

and Why do you love the Corps.?

All of Kenny’s answers reflected the same thing… He loves his Corps. He loves Marines. He loves being one. He said he wouldn’t change a thing. He also said that if he could be 18 again, he would join the Marines all over again. That day those recruits gave him a standing ovation. He was honored to give a message to so many young men.

In April of 2006, Tonia and Kenny helped dedicate a new Fisher House in Palo Alto, a temporary residence for military personnel, retirees, and their families when they need to be close to a Veterans Affairs or military hospital far from home.

Ken retired May 29, 2008 - with 20 yrs and 10 months as a United States Marine.  Today, Kenny is strong. The values he was taught by the Corps. have assisted his road to recovery. He is proud to be a UNITED STATES MARINE. SEMPER FI.

Kathy has 3 daughters – Victoria Ann cheney age 14, Kristen Marie Larson age 9, and Kaitlin Isabella Larson age 2.

Her favorite and funniest memory of Kearns was when she learned to drive a stick shift. She was a junior and everyone else was a year younger because of her late birthday. The other driver at the same time already knew how to drive and she didn’t know what she was doing. Everyone kept telling her to give it more gas because she kept making the car lurch or stall. Finally she stood on the gas pedal, skidded through the drivers ed course and nearly ended up going over the curb. From that day on, the other driver that witnessed the whole event would laugh and gesture at her poor driving skills every time she passed by. AS a side note, she says she is a much better driver these days.

She earned a Bachelors degree from the University of Utah, a Masters Degree/Counseling Certification at BYU, and an Administration Degree from the U of U.

She has served on several boards at the U and is presently on the Beehive Board of Directors (an honorary organization for University of Utah seniors).

Elaine said that she thinks fondly of the student body officers when she was an advisor and thoroughly enjoyed all of the activities. Commenting about her experiences at Kearns High, she said, “We did some crazy things, but, the student body really responded. One time I tripped UP the library steps and felt very silly. Another day during a heavy rain storm, I was walking in the parking lot to my car and was hit by one of our students. What a sight I must have been. My dress flew up and my umbrella inverted and there I was on my back. I had many students come to help me up. It was very embarrassing.”

Elaine and her husband Bill have traveled extensively. They have been to European countries three times. They have also traveled to China, Russia, Egypt, Israel, Romania, Hungary, and many places in Mexico, Aruba, and Bahamas. They belong to a tennis group of 20 couples and they travel with them to many foreign countries to travel and play tennis.

They love to volunteer. The greatest experience they had was as volunteers during the 2002 Olympics. They worked 8 months before the games began and then all through the Olympics and the Para-Olympics. It was a great experience. They were also chosen to be the volunteers who flew with 250 people to Athens, Greece, to pick up the Olympic Torch. They were given a torch – which was one of the greatest rewards for their thousands of hours of volunteering.

Elaine and Bill have a good, loving family. They have 2 married daughters – Tracy is 50 and Leslie is 46. They have 8 grandchildren and one great grandson. They enjoy having fun with their family. They have a good life. They love to exercise regularly at the Sports Mall, walk as much as possible, play tennis, ski and feel great!
