Hello students,Here is another package of rich learning tasks for ELA and SS!The ELA includes: journaling, book talk/reading, grammar on synonyms The SS includes: video and vocabulary on the new unit, Manitoba becomes a province. EXTRA, EXTRA: includes: extra online resources to support students and families across all subject areasKeep in mind, being creative and active are important. Get outside with a book, run around the backyard, shoot some hoops and paint a picture. How about exploring with some photography too! Maybe learn to knit or draw?! Also, you need to keep connecting to one another by social media, phone calls, TEAMS or email. Try working on some of these activities independently and some with a class-mate or peer. As always, communicate with your teachers if you have any questions or concerns. We are here to support you and your academic goals. Work at your own pace and keep trying. I suggest that you check off the tasks as you complete them to make this work more manageable. Monday ELATask one: Read for 15 minutes or work on book talk.Task two: Journal: Here is a creative journal book (MY LOCK-DOWN DIARY) to explore! You may print out pages as you require and/or use paper to re-create them. These activities allow you to explore your feelings, your moods and act as a memory of the Covid experience of 2020. Set aside some time over the next few weeks to create as many as you can. Keep in mind this is a long-term activity so, you can easily do a couple this week and try some more in the future.
