5th Grade D.O.L. and W.O.W.Below is a list of the weeks for the entire year. Students are given one W.O.W. (Word of the Week) word each week, and one D.O.L. (Daily Oral Language) sentence each day. Worksheets were passed out the first day of school. If a student loses their worksheet, they are required to print out their own copy off my web page.If a student is absent, they are still required to complete the W.O.W. & D.O.L. ?Students have the same number of days that they had an EXCUSED absence to make up the work. (Ex: If they were absent 4 days, and they were excused, they have 4 days to make up the work.) ?If absent because of field trip, snow day, or holiday, please write “FIELD TRIP,” “SNOW DAY,” or “HOLIDAY” for that day.For the D.O.L., students have to correct the sentence with a red pen and copy them correctly. Sentences must be corrected with a red pen to receive full credit. Each day, students are required to fill out an activity for the W.O.W. word.
