The isosceles triangle theorem says that if two sides of a triangle are congruent, then the angles opposite of those sides are also congruent. An equilateral triangle is one where all sides are congruent. As a corollary to the isosceles triangle theorem, if a triangle is equilateral then it is also equiangular.
