IT'S OFFICIAL! CBS TO WIN THE SEASON IN VIEWERS

FOR THE 10TH STRAIGHT TIME

When the 2017-2018 broadcast season officially ended after primetime on May 23, CBS retained the crown as "America's Most-Watched Network" for the 10th straight season (and 15th out of the last 16). The Eye finished the season by winning 11 consecutive weeks. Additionally, CBS won six nights last week (the week ending May 20), while beating its closest competition by more than +1.5 million viewers (6.58m versus 5.04m) and claiming 12 of the week's top 20 programs ? more than all other broadcast networks combined.

As previously reported, CBS passed NBC to secure the total viewer crown after NBC had built what seemed to be an insurmountable lead at the end of February following the Super Bowl and 17 days of the Olympics. The Network overcame the deficit on the strength of a primetime schedule deep with hit shows and top-rated nights. (Source:NTI)
