MOTHERS’ DAY COVIDSAFE PROTOCOLSThis Otis Foundation is committed to keeping participants, volunteers, and our community safe at our 2021 Mothers’ Day Celebration. The event will be conducted in line with the public health orders and advice provided within the COVIDSafe guidelines set by the Victorian State Government.In order to help provide a COVIDSafe event, we kindly ask that our staff, volunteers, participants and attendees adhere to the following:If you are feeling unwell or displaying COVID symptoms, we ask you stay home. If you are displaying COVID symptoms, entry to the event will not be permitted. If you have been in contact with a COVID case or someone presenting with symptoms, we also ask you stay home.Prior to arrival, please download and actively use the COVIDSafe App. This can be downloaded via the App Store or Google Play:Apple: Android: When you arrive we will ask that you do not handshake or hug others. Instead, we encourage you to bump an elbow or give a friendly wave. There will be a QR code system in place and all persons must check-in immediately upon arrival. We ask that you bring a face mask along with you, and wear when unable to physically distance. You are not to attend the event if you are from a known hot spot or restricted area.Seating will be arranged to adhere to physical distancing requirements. All persons must maintain a physical distance of at least 1.5m from others - this applies to all areas both inside and outside. If at any point you feel the need to cough, we ask that you do so into your elbow, facing away from others. We also ask that you don’t handle other people’s phones/cameras when taking photos.Hand sanitiser will be readily available throughout the venue.The Boardwalk Bendigo will also be implementing their COVIDSafe plan to ensure a safe and fun event for everyone. ................
