There will be numerous in class assignments and small group work assignments throughout the unit.

Greek Mythology Character Cards

Submit 6 trading cards of your favorite gods and or characters in Greek mythology. Each cards must contain the following…

On the front of the card

- A picture of the god or character

- the name of the god or character

- the title and/or the importance of the good or character

On the back of the card

- a symbol of the god or character

- a list of the family members of the god or character

- three traits of the god or character

- a two to three sentence explanation of the importance of the god or character

Example (You may not use Zeus for your submission!)

Mythology Study INP

Create a story map for your novel. You should include 6-10 scenes in your story map. Each scene should include a picture (of the setting, a character, a symbol; use clip art, hand drawn pictures, magazine clippings, etc…) and a three to five sentence explanation of the importance of this scene/portion of the book. By reading through your story map, I should get a good sense of the plot and the characters. While you are reading keep careful track of your comprehension of your novel using post it notes. You may submit 15-20 post it notes with your project for 10% extra credit on your project.
