Biblical Hebrew does not have a separate set of numerical symbols (1, 2, 3, etc.) like we do in English.

Rather, Hebrew numbers are written out.

Cardinal numbers are used for counting (one, two, three, etc.). Ordinal numbers are used to indicate position in a series (first,

second, third, etc.).
