Mary D. Lang Kindergarten Center

Hello Kindergarten Friends! It is musical Friday and we are going to explore a type of music today called Jazz. For my P Pod friends who I get to see on B Days we already explored it a bit with a song called "What a Wonderful World" by Louis Armstrong. Below is the link for the song and when you listen to I want you to make a list with words or drawings of what you think is wonderful about our world. There is a worksheet linked below for you to draw/write on and you can send it to me if you would like to. I have included several other links below for a few more jazz songs and a short video with Mr. Rogers and the famous trumpet player, Wynton Marsalis. You can play some of these when you need a break from your work or to help you relax! In two weeks we will be exploring instruments of the orchestra! If you have extra time you can explore the game listening adventures at Carnegie Hall. Miss you all!Mrs. Mata - emata@Links to Songs and Activities1. What a Wonderful World by Louis Armstrong - .
